This photo was taken on my way back to college. The autumn sky at sunset was gorgeous that day. The entire sky was blanketed with a pink and orange hue, illuminating the landscape with the same colour.

I like taking walks in nature, it helps me to relax and arrange my thoughts. I also enjoy travelling and would love to try solo travelling around Europe one day. In my free time, I play some chess and poker. I love reading books and has the habit of reading before bed. I am a big fan of Jpop like Yoasobi and Mando-pop. One memorable event was the experience of flying in a glider for the first time. I sometimes juggle in my free time as well.

Here are some notes I made for the Physics course in Natural Sciences.

Part IB

Lecturer: Dr. Tijmen Euser. Lots of overlap with labworks. Generally not a challenging course and is rather boring.

Lecturer: Prof. Claudio Castelnovo. Very well taught course with great notes and engaging black board lecture style. A more formal and rigorous introduction to quantum mechanics with operators and matrices.

Lecturer: Prof. Andrew Jardine. Course was taught in easter term and has lots of new content but very little time to actually learn and understand the subject. Challenging course.

Lecturer: Prof. Oleg Brandt. Amazing lectures with frequent live experimental demonstrations. A fun and challenging course.

Lecturer: Prof Mike Payne. Not a typical classical mechanics course which one usually thinks of. Covers a broad range of topics ranging from orbits and rigid body dynamics to elasticities and fluid dynamics. Manageable course but felt it lacked relevance. Would appreciate a deeper dive into Lagrangian and Hamiltonian mechanics.

Lecturer: Prof John Ellis. A heavy course with lots of interesting ideas, amplified by Prof Ellis's philosophical detours.
